Anyway, I also rocked with Megasoid, was very impressed with Cadence Weapon, got to meet people from various distributors, promoters and had an AWKWARD azz conversation with a Lady from MTV:

Megasoid
While so many respected journalists have struggled to accurately describe the Megasoid sound... here's another failed attempt:

The combination of Hip-Hop artist Sixtoo, and Wolf Parade's Hadji Baraka, is known as Megasoid. Their sound is a Hip-Hop / Turbo crunk hybrid, vagely reminiscent of Neptunes / Timbaland synth lines... only injected with HGH. (the worst description of all.lol)

Megasoid has just dropped their mixtape entitled Tank Thong, which features the ZULU collaboration "Student Riot"

Also I exchanged lots of CDs with artists. This was my favorite one of the bunch... (which means listened to it several times, and loaded to i-pod)

I would describe their sound as kind of an updated turn on Janis Joplin-styled, Blues vocals. The backing music is electric guitar and drum driven. (my descriptions probably piss artists off.lol, but they are just my humble opinion)
