DJ Journey: The Hollywood Experience
Back in the days of Perception2020... we had a staff DJ, amongst other things, who would post a weekly / monthly mix.. etc. etc. sometimes we would drop them to CD... of course that's when CDs were the thing to do... Not so sure now.lol

Anyway Journey moved to L. A. and went "Hollywood" in a manner of speaking. What this really means is we have music spinning in the swankiest Hollywood nightspots. Kid got a knack for hustling up high profile residencies I'm hearing... Big Up, breddren we see you.

You gotta admit, since the majors have lost their death grip on musical trends (forcefeeding people: TELLING them what is HOT).. you can find a great deal more innovation out there in music.

Some of the wickedest trends are coming out from around the world.
Baile Funk: South America... (Big Up to the Other MC Zulu), Kuduro: South America, via Portugal, via ANGOLA)... Of Course there is the French Disco (I probably said it wrong AGAIN, but me love it still) Then from the UK, Dubstep is murdering soundsystems worldwide.
